Membership Information

Today fighting fraud is a challenge for all of us. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is an individual membership organization made up of over 30,000 accountants, internal auditors, fraud investigators, law enforcement personnel, lawyers, business leaders, educators and students representing 102 countries around the world.

Membership with the Greater Boston Chapter of the ACFE provides you immediate access to world-class anti-fraud knowledge and tools necessary to fight fraud, regardless of your field of specialization. Over half of ACFE's members hold the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation, the globally preferred credential for anti-fraud professionals.

There are four classes of membership in the Chapter.

• Full or Active - open to all CFEs at $20.00 per year.
• Associate - open to associates of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners at $30.00 per year.
  
• Affiliate - open to non CFEs, non-associates and/or non-students employed in one of the above fields or interested in the purpose of the Chapter at $30.00 per year.
  
• Student - open to full-time students currently enrolled in degree granting programs of accredited colleges or universities at $5.00 per year.
  

Note: Affiliate and Student memberships are non-voting and non-office holding classes of membership, but do receive any offered discounts on Chapter training. Associate memberships are also non-voting, but may hold office. Applications for membership may be submitted online, and also can be obtained by contacting a Chapter Officer, or contacting the Chapter.
