The Greater Boston Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring an academic scholarship for the 2006-2007 school year. This scholarship is offered to promote the education of students who may become fraud professionals and to encourage their future involvement in the extensive career training opportunities offered by the Chapter. (n.b., Information on the scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic year will be posted on, or after, January 2007.)

This scholarship is awarded on the basis of overall academic achievement, letters of recommendation and an essay that demonstrates why the candidate should receive the scholarship and how fraud awareness will affect their professional career development. The scholarship application (PDF) contains detailed instructions regarding the requirements for consideration. Scholarship recipients must attend a chapter luncheon held in June to accept the award.
